Pete Shinkunas cofounded Providence Group, P.C. in 2007.  Prior to that he had operated a small accounting practice in Athens, Alabama.  Pete earned his B.S.B.A. in Accounting from Auburn University in 1999 and worked several years with a regional accounting practice.  Pete's experience include tax advisory, accounting information systems, business consulting and outsourced CFO engagements.

Pete currently manages the Athens operations of Seaman, Shinkunas & Lindgren P.C.from our Athens office location on Marion Street.  He resides in West Athens with his wife Karla, a chemical engineer with BP Chemical, and they are both the proud parents of three sons: Ben, Jeb and Max. 

Pete is a member of the AICPA and the Alabama Society of CPA's.
